The next AirBnB place we booked was in Rouen - a young couple's apartment who were away for the week. It was close to downtown and very cute. The photo below was the kitchen and dining and lounge all combined and was about half the size of the apartment. The rest of the apartment had a laundry/shower-room (the shower had good pressure but was the size of a normal person in all dimensions - any unchecked motion would result in bumping the mixer tap and scolding yourself or falling through the shower curtain onto the toilet. There was however a nice little sound system that you could plug your laptop into.
Rouen itself is a very interesting town with a distinct medieval feel. Below is some of the surrounds of the Place du Vieux Marche in Rouen where Joan of Arc was burnt at the stake.
Below is the Eglise Sainte-Jeanne-d'Arc in the same square.
...also managed to watch the Crows down the Saints on the lappy with an odd Leffe or two.
